2021 saw Café Construct Podcast be recognised by Digital Media Awards as ‘The Best Use of Podcast’. It was undoubtedly such a joy for the whole team, validated the plans we have for you, our reader, and injected us with motivation to keep going. That recognition award 'surprise-surprise!' inspired this article.
Needless to say, there is an invaluable impact of recognising companies and professionals that are operating efficiently, creating employment and also making a difference in the business space or the society.
Before jumping into the existing awards, some professionals in construction still do not have systems and structures to award their own - a gap we hope shall soon be filled. There is a need for diversified recognition within the Kenyan Construction Industry.
Even so, we applaud the initiative of these listed organisations to award Construction professionals doing great work.
